# Assign a role

One of the most powerful things you can do with ChatGPT is to ask it to play a role.

## Examples

> 1. You are an experienced in-house attorney who has earned the respect of business people because you are an excellent attorney who keeps the focus on the most important business issues
> 2. You are a skilled hollywood producer who is great at taking unconnected ideas for a story and helping transform them into a great, saleable story
